As part of the Dedicants' Program
for ADF (a path of Druidry), I am supposed to meet two objectives
involving High Rites. Previously, in my reflections, I got the
two objectives somewhat entwined. I am going to use this page to
attempt an unentwining. In other words, I will write two short
essays for each High Rite. One will involve the #2 objective
in the Dedicants' Program. The other will deal with the #8
objective. I will also leave a link to the previous
writings, so as to not completely abandon my experiences and
reflections from those High Rites.
It might be wise at this point to state the two objectives I am
attempting to meet.
Objective #2: Short essays on each of the eight ADF High
Days including a discussion of the meaning of each feast. (125 words
min. each).
Objective #8: A brief account of each High Day ritual
attended or performed by the Dedicant in a twelve month period. High
Days attended/performed might be celebrated with a local grove,
privately, or with another Neopagan group. At least 4 of the rituals
attended/performed during the training period must be ADF-style. (100
words min. each).
I will begin posting links to my writings here. I will clearly
differentiate between objective 2 and 8 so as to avoid my earlier
hodgepodge.
Here is
a link to that hodgepodge.
Hopefully, the future write-ups will be less hodgeypodgey.
